The religious ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration continued on 31st August night, joined by a delegation from the Ministry of Development.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development. The ceremony, which included Al-Quran reading and tazkirah, was also joined by the Belait District Village Consultative Councils; mosque youth groups from Kampung Kasat Mosque and Kampung Lumapas Mosque, as well as the Islamic Studies Department.

Meanwhile, a delegation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs extended the Ihya Maulidur Rasul to Pekan Seria Mosque. The delegation was led by Awang Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion, Ministry of Religious Affairs.​

The mosque takmir committee and muslimah of Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam and the Dakwah At Tammah Council continued the Dikir Maulud at the mosque.​
